2022 China International Digital Economy Expo Successfully Concluded

247 signed projects in Hebei with a total investment of 246.27 billion Chinese yuan

On Nov. 18, CIDEE 2022 with the theme of integrating innovation and digital empowerment was successfully concluded. According to the secretariat of the Executive Committee of CIDEE, after the preliminary statistics, there are 247 major signed projects in Hebei with a total investment of 246.27 billion Chinese yuan. Compared with the previous Expo, the number of CIDEE 2022 increased by 41 and the total investment increased by 95 billion Chinese yuan. Hebei has achieved fruitful results in attracting investment and wisdom.

The opening ceremony and theme summit, 30 parallel forums, 4 competitions, 3 industry matchmaking activities, a series of innovative achievements release and award activities were held online at the Expo, and a cloud exhibition hall was built with richer themes, more comprehensive contents and more distinctive features.

At the opening ceremony and theme summit, 21 projects were signed online. The People’s Government of Hebei Province signed a strategic cooperation agreement online with China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom and China Tower, focusing on "5G+", new information infrastructure construction, data resource system construction and other fields. The remaining 17 digital projects signed online cover intelligent manufacturing, electronic information, new materials and other fields.

The Department of Industry and Information Technology of Hebei Province and six subordinate universities of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology signed cooperation agreements on integration of industry and education, and carried out in-depth cooperation in co-building the scientific research innovation platforms, promoting scientific and technological innovation and achievements transformation, advancing in-depth cooperation between industry, education and research, and strengthening industrial and cultural exchanges and visits.

The universities are important birthplaces of scientific and technological achievements, and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements of universities is an important technological support for regional economic development. The matchmaking conference for the release of digital economy innovation achievements of universities under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology centrally released 197 achievements of 7 universities, including Beihang University and Beijing Institute of Technology. Many achievements filled the gap in China and reached a number of cooperation intentions with Hebei. At the Digital Economy Industry University Research Cooperation Summit Forum, 127 innovative achievements in the field of digital economy from 16 universities and research institutes, including Peking University, Tianjin University and Hebei University of Technology, were released.

As one of the important activities of this Expo, a series of innovation achievement conferences have collected more than 210 new technologies, new products, new models, new scenarios and new achievements in the field of digital economy from around the world. After being reviewed by experts and academicians, 50 innovation achievement awards were finally selected, including 34 first achievements in China and 9 black technology achievements.

Launch the Cloud Exhibition Hall to create a long-lasting China International Digital Economy Expo.

On Nov. 16, the opening day of 2022 China International Digital Economy Expo, the Cloud Exhibition Hall was officially launched, and more than 60 enterprises (exhibition groups) have been launched. The Cloud Exhibition Hall not only fully reflects the regional characteristics of Fujian, Heilongjiang, Tianjin and Hebei, but also sets up an exhibition of achievements of international scientific and technological cooperation, which fully reflects international in-depth cooperation.

The Cloud Exhibition Hall uses VR, roaming, 3D modeling and other digital technologies to build an online 720°roaming lobby and four exhibition halls, so as to build a global marketing platform and exhibition window for exhibitors.
